INSPIRATION FOR INFORCE CAME FROM INSIDE
Brian MacKenzie, our founder, understands the enormity of the challenges facing CIOs and others responsible for getting the most out of their insurance systems technology. He also understands the stress and frustrations that often comes with finding outside help to do it. He experienced it firsthand while working on your side of the fence as project manager at a fast-growing P&C insurance company early in his career.
Brian SAW LOTS OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT
Knowing there had to be a better way, Brian was inspired to set out on his own and create a different type of resource–one that would deliver all the services insurers are looking for when they go outside for help minus the typical shortcomings. In 2009, with that clear yet ambitious vision, he founded INFORCE with just one customer and one employee.

PREFERRING NORTH SHORE OVER OFFSHORE
For the first decade, with the INFORCE business steadily growing, Brian remained keenly aware that the company’s success was driven by the caliber of work his team was delivering. To safeguard that level of quality, INFORCE performed all the work with a 100% inhouse team based on the America’s north coast in Cleveland, Ohio. After all, undercutting the competition was never the goal. Being more reliable was.
OUR BRIDGE ABROAD
So, how did INFORCE become a multinational insurance systems technology and consulting firm with significant in-house resources located overseas? Simple. Back in 2018, our Chief Technical Architect (who’d been with us since our early years in Cleveland) asked if he could work from home. Why not? Anything to keep great talent, right? Well, home for Peter happened to be in Serbia.
LONG STORY SHORT
Not only was our Chief Technical Leader thrilled with the flexibility and happy to be back home with family and lifelong friends in Serbia, but when it came time to add staff, knocking on his doorstep was an untapped pool of incredible talent. Who knew? For every new job opening we posted, we were met with a long line of candidates with the ideal aptitude and attitude to excel at the work we do.
FINDING AND KEEPING GREAT PEOPLE
As everyone in this business knows, building a formidable team of analysts, engineers, developers, and consultants is not easy. Not only do you have to find and attract top-notch talent, you then have to find a way to keep them. We’ve gotten quite good at both, knowing it’s what makes or breaks us.
Brian
MacKenzie
Founder & CEO
A few years back, Brian flew the bumps and jumps of motocross. Additionally, he’s a lifelong Formula One fan, and also heads south annually to tear around the Daytona Speedway. Now you know why Inforce was built for speed. Brian has a very low (or no) tolerance for going slow.

Olivera
Kuzmanovic
Quality Assurance Analyst
Whether it’s using a crescent wrench to tweak a piece of machinery or spotting a monkey wrench that was thrown into code, Olivera is skilled with tools. Around here, she’s what we call a tech cat. Throw her into any technical challenge and she’ll always land on her feet.
Aleksandar
Smudic
Senior Implementation Developer
It may not be surprising a developer as skilled as Aleks is good at digital games. But that’s nothing compared to his talent in real-world sports, including fishing, basketball and soccer. Oh, and never play darts with him for money. He’s won several local darts championships.
Veljko
Vostinic
Software Engineer Lead
Predrag
Vostinic
SVP Global Operations
Predrag’s (aka Peter) greatest asset may be his ability to find, develop, and keep the very best IT talent. But his most interesting talent is doing meaty math problems in his head. It’s crazy. He often blurts out the answer while others are still fumbling for their calculators.
Ivana
Antonijevic
Senior Quality Assurance Lead
Andrija
Otasevic
Software Engineer Lead
Inspired by an IT pioneer dad, Andrija was building websites in the internet’s infancy, all while competing in multiple sports at a very high level, including Serbian pro football (not soccer). This is one guy you definitely want on your team (for IT or sports…doesn’t matter).

Bojan
Minic
Software Engineer Lead
Though Bojan opted for a career utilizing his programming talent, he started down a much different path with a few years in art school. Today, his creativity still serves him well when it’s time to unwind, as he strives to create masterpieces as an amateur backyard landscaper.
Ana
Vasic
Quality Assurance Analyst
While interning in the hospitality industry, Ana realized she’d rather experience the nicest hotels as a guest instead of an employee. Today, with her budding IT career, Ana is eager to explore the world armed with her passion for discovery and her ability to speak 5 languages.
Marko
Mojovic
Senior Implementation Developer
Marko’s favorite pastime flip-flops between movies and soccer, whether it’s on a table, game console, TV, or an actual field. That said, his impressive knowledge of the game may actually pale compared to his knowledge of films. Need something great to watch tonight? Ask Marko.
Bojan
Lekic
Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
While our entire staff’s command of English is impressive, Bojan takes it to the nth degree with a master’s degree in the language. When we in the US talk with him about work, music, or whatever, we naturally find ourselves trying not to end sentences with a preposition.
Mihailo
Bogojevic
Senior Implementation Developer
Mihailo’s life has a soundtrack. Whether he’s at the gym, at work, walking his dog or honing his 3D modeling skills, Mihailo has the earbuds in and the volume up. Whatever the action, whatever the mood, he always has a playlist ready to make it a multi-sensory experience.
ENJOY THE STABILITY OF EMPLOYEE RETENTION of over 95%
Experience what it’s like to complete a project with the entire team that started it still intact when the project’s completed. While it’s a rare occurrence in an industry suffering from a turnover rate of 30% or more, it’s business as usual with Inforce.
